Advancing Research. Preserving History. Supporting Communities.

Document the Past. Preserve It for the Future.

FRAD partners with archaeologists, researchers, universities, nonprofit organizations, tribal communities, museums, land managers, and public agencies to provide accurate geospatial documentation that supports research, conservation, preservation, and education. Our mission is to help organizations capture meaningful, evidence-based information while minimizing disturbance to sensitive cultural, historical, and environmental resources. Whether documenting archaeological sites, preserving historic structures, monitoring ecological change, or supporting scientific research, every project is tailored to the unique needs of the people, places, and questions being studied.

Our Approach

Every project begins with respect for the resource. We believe modern geospatial technologies can improve documentation, reduce unnecessary site disturbance, and create lasting records that support research, education, conservation, and informed stewardship. Whenever appropriate, we work alongside project partners to develop workflows that meet scientific objectives while remaining practical, efficient, and cost-effective.

Research & Pilot Projects

Innovation has always been driven by collaboration. FRAD welcomes opportunities to participate in research initiatives, pilot programs, proof-of-concept projects, and collaborative field studies involving emerging geospatial technologies and advanced documentation methods. Reduced nonprofit, educational, and research pricing may be available for qualifying organizations and projects.

Our Commitment

Some places are too important to document only once—and too valuable to lose to time. We believe accurate documentation can preserve knowledge, support better stewardship, and provide future generations with a deeper understanding of our shared cultural and natural heritage. Our goal is to combine modern technology with thoughtful field practices to create reliable, lasting records that serve researchers, land managers, communities, and the public for years to come.

Modern Technology. Traditional Integrity.
